Items needed: 1 Box of Epson Salt, Essential Oils - any variety you like (I like orange or lavender)
Directions:
Mix 1 cup of epson salt with 5 to 10 drops of essential oil. Can be packed in a zip lock bag and then stored in a glass jar. It seems to hold the scent longer when packed like this. This works best when made in small batches. Bigger batches can be made but it does not seem to smell the same. The jar can be decorated with ribbons and other adornments when giving as a gift.To use: sprinkle desired amount under warm running bath water.I hope this recipe saves you money and helps you to de-stress. | |

| | Spoiling your partner? | | What do you do when you want to give your partner a special treat? How do you spoil him/her?I love giving him a full body massage. When Im really in the mood then I make him some levandel scented bath and while he is in there I prepair the room...turn off lights, light candels, pu on some relaxing music, heat up massage oil...and then give him the nice realyxing treat:)

| | The most embarassing of moments..... almost... | | So this morning I've got some time to myself and decide that I'm going to relax in a nice hot scented bath and indulge for awhile. I get together all my bath essentials (pop, chips, book, candle, etc.) and go upstairs to discover that my son had left the plug in after his tub earlier so I pulled the plug and went into my bedroom to get ready (read: get nekkid;)).So there I am standing in the hallway in the buff when I here my boyfriend come home unexpectedly. Yay.. I start getting "ideas", so I go and do a pose at the top of the stairwell to greet him.Thankfully there was enough of a shadow going on that I was able to see the person coming up the stairs behind him because it turned out to be his younger brother and I had just enough time to reach for my housecoat, which thankfully was right there.Would have been more of me that the BIL needed to know about.... | |

What exectly do people do when they are tring to take a nice relaxing bath? I light a few candles (any that i can find just for show) and put some scented bath salt in the tub and sometimes some bubble bath. | |

Well we are on the count down to Christmas. If you still have a few people to take care of, now is the time to do it before you get totally stressed out. Here are some frugal and easy gifts to make. You can even involve the kids in making them. They are great for teacher gifts, college kids, hostess gifts and just about everyone else. Homemade gifts of food are always well accepted. I get many requests for them.Last year, I made a lot of Hot Chocolate Mix and gave them as Christmas gifts. Everyone loved them. In fact, Victoria as requested more this year. It is so easy to make. It is very frugal and tastes better than the commercial mix. I use my kitchen aid mixer to mix all the ingredients well. It seems to give it a powdery mix that you cannot create any other way. Hot Chocolate Mix3 cups powdered milk
1/2 cup cocoa
3/4 cup sugar
Dash of salt
Miniature marshmallows (optional)
Sift the ingredients into a large bowl.
Distribute the mix into an airtight container.
I save my jars all year long and use them for gift giving. Attach this to the JarHot Chocolate4 tablespoons Hot Chocolate Mix
