myLot Discussions on Hypo Allergenic Body Soaps
Hypo allergenic dogs
I am allergic to dogs that is why I have a miniature Schnauzer. He is one of the many Hypo Allergenic dog breeds. He doesn't shed and he has hair instead of fur. There are other breeds out there that are also Hypo Allergenic and most are in the terrier group. Do you have an hyper allergenic dog and can you name a few others?
What are hypo-allergenic cosmetics?
The term hypo-allergenic means "less likely to cause an allergic reaction". Are these cosmetics you get in the market hypo-allergenic?
my latest laundry soap experiment
so i was thinking soap is soap right? so why do we have so many different soaps for all the different things we do. i live in a small place and just dont have the room to have a million different containers sitting around. a simple google search of using dish soap for laundry soap got me the answer i was looking fori have skin issues and need gentle soap. ivory dish soap concentrate is all i can use to do the dishes with out breaking out and i have to give my clothes an extra rinse cycle to make sure that i dont break out from the laundry soap.. i found that lots of ladies were using a mixture of 7 parts water to 1 part dish soap for laundry soap. now the articles i read used ajax dish soap to get the husbands grubby work clothes clean....here is what i have been doing for about 3 months now and it works great!!!!i used an old laundry soap container one that was a concentrated one... 7 cap-fulls water to 1 cap full of ivory dish concentrate. i use the line that you would if it were the store bought.cleans my clothes better than any laundry soap i have ever bought. no more wasting water on the extra rinse cycle. no more rash around the panty line. ouch. it...

Alpaca Farm
recently we went on a tour of an Alpaca farm. It was interesting. We learned amazing facts about the Alpaca. We also watched weavers and spinners and marveled at their goods. The alpaca which hales from the Andes is a direct decedent of the camel and is not related to the llama despite their similar appearances. Their wool, especially on the young ones - is the most luscious. It has a natural property that deters bugs - it is practically hypo allergenic, unlike other wools. They eat only 8oz of food a day and cost around 300 dollars a year to maintain. However, they may cost upwards of 100,000 for a confirmed animal. Mostly they range between 3000-5000 each, though.
Allergic but still love em!
Hi all, I'm pretty allergic to cats, but i still love them. I've heard of the new genetically modified cat thats "hypo-allergenic" has anyone heard of that? Do you guys think its worth it? I mean, the cat costs like $9,000 and again, I really love cats. What should I do?
Stupid Cupid.........Stop Picking On Me!
Alternative Valentine GiftsAfter many happy years of lovey-doveyness at Valentines Day (all other days considered), exchanging heartfelt gifts which are mainly soft and chewy in the middle, my wife had decided to go for the more practical approach this year.[em]suspicious[/em] Instead of the usual flowers and chocolates I give her, and the thanks she gives me (plus the nuts she doesn't like!), she has opted for a more sharing, eco-friendly...'nicer' present this year. MatchingHis 'n' Hers rubber gloves. And pink of all colours! She says I can help her clean the bathrooms and toilets tomorrow and gain much more satisfaction and become closer to her because we are 'working together'.[em]blink[/em]For years I have fought against this, quoting my skin problems as an excuse and 'til now, I have got away with it. Unfortunately these new gloves are hypo-allergenic and long lasting. Plus they were BOGOF at Tesco and she loves a bargain.[em]rolleyes[/em]What nice, new idea has YOUR partner come up with this year to promote all things loving and sharing in your relationship? P.S. Do I leave the seat up or down after cleansing? I am thinking...

Have you ever attended a foam party?
This discussion header is pretty much self explanatory. When I was younger I always wanted to go to a foam party, but never seemed to be able to find one close enough to where I lived. When I was 20, I went on a club 18-30 vacation with a friend to Ibiza. We hit the clubs every night that we were there, but never went to a foam party, though quite a few clubs held foam parties. At that time, I think we were both just intent on getting drunk and hitting the dance floor lol. Now, 10 years later, I still haven't attended a foam party. But the desire to go to one hasn't really died all that much. For those who may be wondering what a foam party is, a foam party is a social event in which participants dance to music on a dance floor covered in several feet of suds or bubbles dispensed from a foam machine. For safety reasons, the foam is generated from non-toxic, non-staining, hypo-allergenic solutions. So now, my question to you all is, have you ever been to a foam party? If so, what was it like? Did you enjoy it, or was the experience so bad that you swore you'd never go to one again?
