What this meant was director Sam Raimi walked away from the project and immediately Sony announced that they would reboot the franchise with a new Spiderman movie which focused on Peter Parker when he is still at High School, goodbye Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst as well then. For those who don't know a reboot is technically when the production company decide to take a movie back to the beginning and try again with a new focus, although the sceptics amongst us say it's when a production company decide that to make more money they start again.The thing is we had 3 Spiderman movies already with the third one being panned by many, so did we really want another one in the first place, yet alone a reboot so soon after the last movie. Surely rather than trying to drain every last cent out of a franchise wouldn't it be better to focus on a new super hero, bringing in new characters rather than trying to reinvent one... | |

I mean personally I thought the second one was pretty bad and I only wacthed parts of the third film as I found no interest in it but it made 30 million dollars worldwide which is pretty big and Disney are happy because they are cashing in more money but the fact is that High School Musical 4 will be made by a different director, different cast and a whole new audience is to be expected.Share your thoughts here, I would like to know what you think.her one in the first place, yet alone a reboot so soon after the last movie. But, if i have to choose i would go with grease cause it was the original, it was raw and very well done. I think that high School Musical is too disney. John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John star in the movie version.What's popular today High School Musical. When I first saw the movie (the original one), the first thing that came to my mind was that Disney was trying to make a remake of Grease. But it didn't pass my standards.But after watching HSM, I think my comparison could have been a joke. Sure, Grease didn't have such great choreography. It was made in year nineteen sixty something or fifty something. But I appreciate it a lot more than I like HSM. What do you think? | |

| | Which High School Musical Series is your favorite??? | | When High School Musical 1 premiered in Disney Channel, I was blown away! The movie was so hyper and so incredibly great! The songs are so original and dance moves make me wanna dance too. I was one who got crazy with Breaking Free! LOL I started to love the casts and the production and mostly everything about HSM. I thought that was the first and the last! HAHA! High School Musical Extended Edition came out again! In Disney Channel! It was more even better and so fresh. It was summer time! The movie excelled to higher level. My fave song in the movie would be You Are The Music In Me, Everyday and All For One! Great Compositions!! After awhile, rumors was right! High School Musical 3 Senior Year was released October 24, 2008! The movie had an International Premiere and it is still a blockbuster! Everyone loves the movie and fans went wild! The movie gave the very best of everything from choreography, songs, casts and production. HSM 3 went to the extreme! Extremely perfect! One of the most greatest performance ever! I love all the songs in the movie! My fave part was Zac's and Nessa's Can I Have This Dance scene!!! So sweet and I love love love the choreography!!! Most adorable... | |
