Which ones have you found that work well, and the ones that don't work.Avon moisture therapy lotion works the best for me, so far. It has little scent, so it doesn't set off my allergy to smells, and it's very moisturizing. Equate cocoa butter--very thin, doesn't work very well. Feels like water, really. | | do you have sweaty palms? | | I do! How do we cure this or at least hide(?) it? Especially when the season is hot, my hands and feet are all sweaty. It's just so embarassing when I meet someone, I can't shake hands with them. Or when I meet some of my old friends, I can't high five with them, a common act here in our country when friends meet.Sometimes I bring a hanky which turns out all soaked in my sweat. However, it really doesn't help me that much. And I always tend to lose my hanky. I just end up losing my handkerchiefs.What do you do? | |

I have a small dilemma here. Since I started working my hands have slowly began getting rough and it isn't as soft as it used to be. I use the same lotions but it's a small welding and plumbing supplies store with the normal tools and nails, etc. Anyway, we wash our hands alot there and we do have our own lotion to put on afterwards. Yet my hands are noticeably feeling less and less soft. It really hit me that I need to do something about it when my boyfriend told me "What's wrong baby? you're hands are so rough, aren't you using the lotion?" Now, it isn't a specialized hand lotion per say cause I've never had this trouble before.
We went to the cosmetics store and a girl told me instead of buying expensive hand lotions I could use normal lotion and put my hand in a plastic bag when I'm not doing anything. It gave me an idea to get gloves to do this but I was wondering if you all have any suggestions. I was also thinking of buying Avon's silicone glove lotion. I've never used it before but I've heard it's good. | |

PROPYLENE GLYCOL (PG): As a "surfactant" or wetting agent and solvent, this ingredient is actually the active component in antifreeze, yet is found in most forms of make-up, hair products, lotions, after shave- deodorants, mouthwashes and toothpaste!!!
SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE (SLS) & SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE (SLES): both are used widely as one of the major ingredients in cosmetics, toothpaste, hair conditioner and about 90% of all shampoos and products that foam. According to the American College of Toxicology states both SLS and SLES can cause malformation in children's eyes. Other research has indicated SLS may be damaging to the immune system and it is possibly the most dangerous of all ingredients in personal care products.
IMIDAZOLIDINYL UREA and DMDM HYDANTOIN: These are just two of the many preservatives that release formaldehyde (formaldehyde-donors).
Exposure to formaldehyde may cause joint pain, allergies, depression, headaches, chest pains, ear infections, chronic... | |

If your a teacher,what have you recived? What are some gifts you would like to recieve?I can never spend much money for the teachers.I tend to keep freebie samples I get of hand lotions,and add a few other things in.Like extra school supplies and make a small gift basket.If I have the extra money.I like getting a personalized gift bag where all the students can write their names for me to go over in fabric paint later to give as a gift. | |
