Or maybe cause the start of damage on the hair?Because I've done rebonding on my hair last May, and now Im thinking of some Hair color treatment. I've done cellophane with my hair, and I can observe that my hair isn't that affected/ damaged.Now Im confused whether or not to have my hair colored or not? | | To Blow Dry or Not To Blow Dry | | Being a woman having a blow dryer is one of the essentials to have but lately I have stopped using it. Using heated products can damage your hair and since I straighten mine normally 3-4 times a week I know its best for me just to not blow dry it at all.How about everyone else on here. Have you put down your blow dryer for the better good for your hair or have you found a hair product/shampoo that really helps the damage and if so what kind is it.Plus any hair pointers would be great as well! | |

After having hair straightened I had lots of split ends. I trimmed them twice already but it's still there. I don't know what to do anymore. My hair is about 10 inches long and I don't want to cut it very short. I used shampoo that can help minimize split ends but still...:( | |
| | You use blow dryer? | | how do you dry your hairs. i mean if you have long hairs, it is difficult to dry them. you need a blow dryer. if you have a short cut like boy cut or mushroom cut, something very short, then you dont even need that much of drying. but i have long hairs and i dont wanna use that much of hair dryer. its not good for the hairs. i use it only when it is very much necessary. what about you people. how do you manage? | |

Because recently i found that, i tend to fall-out some of my hair when i use hair conditioner after every hair wash. But, for my sister, her hair doesn't fall-out although she shampoo and conditioning her hair often. Should i need to start avoid hair conditioner? | |
| | Have you dyed your hair or had highlights? | | Hi fellow mylotters! Yesterday, two of my guy friends had blue highlights put on their hair. And I admit, I was really fascinated because blue is my favorite color. But it also made me think if it was safe or not. Though the dye they used isn't permanent, does it still have adverse effects on the hair? Do you have any idea about this? If you have dyed your hair or had highlights before or now, does it damage your hair? | |
| | Do you use hair brush on your hair specially when it is still wet? | | I do use hair brush on my hair before but when one of my hair conscious friend told me that hair brush is not good for the hair for it will damage it and sometimes it is a cause of hair breakage, I stopped using hair brush. I have lots of hair brush gifts from my friends but I no longer use it instead I gave it away. I don;t know why I easily believe when people said something about hair care? I am conscious of my hair because it is the crowning glory of a lady. I really appreciate beautiful and silky hair. The reason why I am trying my best to keep my hair from damage that I do everything people say to care for the hair.. hahahaWhat about you? do you care or just never mind? whatever? Lol.. | |
| | How often do you use hair straighteners? | | For a long time i resisted getting a pair of straighteners becuase i though my hair didn't need them and that they would only damage my hair anyway. However, sometimes i would wake up and have a bit of hair stuck out that just wouldn't lay flat even after wetting with water. So i got some straighteners to use for getting rid of those sticky out bits. However now i find myself using them every day, only for 10 mins in the morning and sometimes at night if i wash my hair and go out (usually i wash it last thing before bed hence the need to straighten in the morning) becuase my hair looks so much nicer straightened. So do you use them, how often do you use them? | |

| | Do you shampoo your hair everyday? | | I do shampoo my hair everyday.. bu i noticed that its getting dry. So i make a point to also occasionally use a conditioner after shampooing my hair.. Or i went to a salon every month just to hot oil my hair..A friend in the salon told me that it's not advisable to shampoo our hair everyday because it takes away its natural moisture.. she said it is better to use shampoo on hair just every other day and substitute a hair conditioner on days that shampoo is not used..How about you? DO you shampoo your hair everyday? What have you noticed about it? | |
