I made the mistake of stocking up when winter hit and now I have 5 tubes of chapstick that make my lips more dry and chapped than they were before. I passed out a few to friends, and they all had the same reaction. No relief when using them. I’ve thrown out a few tubes, but I was thinking maybe it was just the winter and they weren’t strong enough, but even yesterday I tried some on, and now my lips are sahara-like and it’s all my Blistex can do to keep them moist enough that they don’t crack on me.
I also bought some of their Christmas hand lotion in Silicone Glove and it made my skin break out in a rash on my inner arms. I DON’T have sensitive skin and have never had that reaction to a hand lotion EVER (and I’ve tried scented, unscented, cheap and expensive). I washed it and splashed it with cool water and it took the redness down, but even the next day my skin was parched. I put a little Body Shop Body Butter on it and it softened right up though.
If any Avon reps read this, I would like to suggest you bring it up with Head Office because I think something is wrong with the testing... | |

I was so upset when she died.[em]sad[/em] To be honest, I haven't been in our shop in Carlisle for ages. However, Mum bought me these little Neroli and Jasmine shower gel and body lotions as a present at Christmas and I'm dying to buy the full-size versions because the smell is sooo gorgeous, it lasts all day, really nice they are. Years ago I used to love the Dewberry smell. Whether it's been discontinued now I don't know...and I once had the full banana range a long time ago...and strawberry. Awesome!It's so unfortunate that it is expensive in The Body Shop but there again they are good at what they do..and the stuff isn't tested on animals.So, does The Body Shop exist in your country? Any good? Is it expensive like in the UK? | |
| | Unnecessary repairs recommended by the body shop | | Do you get that a lot? When you try to get an oil change service from one of your nearby auto shop, after the oil change service done, the mechanic would strongly recommend you to do this service, and that service. Some of those services are quite expensive, at least $500 fork over before you can take your car home. Once a mechanic wanted me to do the transmission service, and the timing belt altogether. But I remember that I done my timing belt service somewhere else just a few months ago. Now, I have to do it again? Sorry, I don't have that much money to waste. A replacement of oil filter might be justified from his demand. Did you get that a lot? | |

I like the smell - very refreshing and very enticing. It definitely last long.I remember one time my ex asked me what I was using in my body. He said it smelled so good and he wanted to get it on with me.Even colleagues noticed my smell when I am at work and they commented they liked it and wanted to buy one for their hubbies.That time I felt like a lot handsomer. Well when i ran out of that soap I went and checked in body shop and i foudn out the price was wow but then I still bought. unitl now I am still using this soap. I am very satisfied. I can highly recommend it. I love it so much. | |

| | Has anyone ever been a body shop at home consultant? | | I have just recently been made aware of the Body Shop at home business and am considering becoming one of their consultants, but was wondering if anyone has had any experience of doing this before?
I have been part of Kleeneze previously but I found this wasn't for me as I found it hard to get the right amount of orders to actually make a decent amount of money.
With the Bodyshop I need to commit to booking 6 parties within 3 weeks. This seems like quite a lot parties to try and get booked within a short amount of time.
Does anyone have any advice? Thanks | |
| | Yay I just got my car back from the body shop, but blah some not so good things. | | While at the body shop I had the front bumper, rocker panels, and a rent on the quarter panels fixed and repainted. It looks AMAZING, but apparently the weatherstripping on my door started to come out (got caught on something, maybe?) and it obviously left paint damage up at the window. You can see where the two clips hit. And on top of that the strips will not go back in and that window is having a very difficult time going back up. I really love my car and it sucks really bad to have this happen, especially when I can not pay to get it fixed.:( | |
